Fairy glen

On Saturday we planned to do a walk but as it rained all day we didn’t go, so when we got up this morning and it was lovely and sunny we thought it would be an ideal day for walking.

So off we went. Started at the car park at Forge Valley and then into Raincliff woods. The autumn colours were amazing. It was quite muddy in places and I think Stanley tried out every wet and dirty puddle he could find, chased a couple of pheasants and probably ran about 20 Miles. Monty bless him doesn’t like to get mucky and just plods along, he did however show some interest in the pheasants.

The walk is about 6 miles and took us just over 4 hours that’s 3 hours walking and 1 hour me taking pictures.

We have two very tired doggies tonight.
