We were so cold after the school run that we had to sit on the electric blanket for a bit. And then we spent the whole morning loafing - strange that Isaac was so easily convinced that this was a good idea as he’s usually ridiculously energetic.

Gratefuls:

1. A lovely walk and a good chat with a friend;
2. A pleasing call with Eve’s teacher for parents evening - she seems happier and happier at school which is always a relief;
3. The prospect of a Spanish chicken stew for a late dinner.
