It's no substitute for the buzz & adrenaline of a live spinning class but I'm grateful for this exercise bike nonetheless.

Tonight we received notification from the gym that memberships are now to be stopped. The hotel was taken over in the summer and I have been psychologically preparing for this day, expecting things to change and the leisure club part of the hotel to be dismantled. I had heard rumours from reliable sources... and so I guess lockdown 2 was the right moment for the new management to make these changes! So that's it...the end of a wonderful era. I absolutely loved this gym and pool, the instructors, the classes and the community. I'm grateful that the wonderful instructors helped me to really get on the road to fitness and kindle a real love for exercise. I hope they are all ok as they receive this news!
