The Cobb

We visited Lyme Regis today for a walk around the town as its my birthday. Its not far to travel so we set off early and spent the morning here.  It was certainly good to be somewhere different. We were lucky with the weather as after our walk around the harbour and the Cobb, the sun came out while we stood with our take away coffees watching the waves on the sea.  Todays MonoMonday theme is openings and the Cobb forms part of the harbour wall with its natural opening into the sea.  I may have taken a more obvious shot had I realised todays theme earlier.

Back home we celebrated with a gin and tonic, my husband cooked an aubergine parmigiana  which was followed by a cheesecake bought by our son. An enjoyable day despite the usual November weather.
