Sea Washed Blue Glass

Primarily used for medicine bottles, blue glass is the fourth most common colour to be found on our local beach; clear, green and brown being the others. Orange and yellows are scarce and red is extremely rare. The pickings are a mixture of sea washed glass from Victorian tips washed into the sea through cliff erosion and waste from the long gone Candlish Bottle Works down by the harbour. All of this was picked from this beach in the last 12 months.
