Crossroads
I went down to the crossroads fell down on my knees. Continuing my February theme of blips inspired by iconic song titles, this was originally a 1936 recording by Robert Johnson and the song has frequently been linked to stories of Johnson selling his soul to the devil for the ability to play music. The version many of us grew up to was Cream's version from the 'Wheels of Fire' album.
My blip is Rowden Cross near where I live. It was taken this afternoon and treated with a 'night' filter and some heavy dodging and burning to get the effect I wanted.
I'm off out with my guitar to see if the visit to the crossroads did do any good and I'll catch up with you all later.
David
