Scotland Day 16

After yesterdays hard walk, we walked across the beach to the very unimpressive Castletown ( that hasn’t a castle!)  Castle Hill, just outside and on the beach had a little harbour, and the remains of a flagstone quarry, that at its height employed 500 people and exported flagstones all over the world. In the afternoon we wandered up to the local gin distillery and bought a couple of gifts, and a bottle of gin for us!
