Long ride
Out on our usual bike this morning. This has become a really nice habit since September.
I was quite ill from mid March until end of April when I then sprained my ankle on a walk with the dogs. We think it was Covid but no testing available then.
Getting back to fitness was a struggle over the summer. The 2 lovely things happened. Some one in the village wanted volunteers for her online HIPP Pilates which was a six week program, which started at the end of July. I then started cycling once or twice a week with a friend. I am now feeling fitter and have more stamina.
I’m not sure I’ll return to running, I’m not sure I’m built for it and with cycling we can see more countryside.
This was one of the big hills this morning on our 40km ride. The sun was shining and it was a bit of a stiff breeze but lovely all the same.
