ENE

After yesterday's wet front passing through the wind picked up and blew from the ENE. There was a chill in the air and the light was beautifully clear. I took the camera on the walk up through the woods. There are really quite a lot of them - woods. You could walk 10km east from the house and hardly emerge from the woods and cross just three roads. So I just nibble at the edges.

In the end I plumped for this view from the house looking up to Monte Falterona and the source of the Arno.
