Something tiny for a Tuesday.  How about our latest candle and incense stick lighter.  It works well unless you bury the end in the candle wax.
 
I had to brave the COVID and raid the local COOP for the milk and the like that Sainsburys didn’t deliver yesterday.  Fortunately it was as good as empty.
 
Battle still continues with Fred Olsen over the deposit.  A ‘non-returnable’ deposit is acceptable in normal times, but these are far from normal times, and when you can’t get insurance (even with the company’s recommended insurers) because the FCO say “DO NOT TRAVEL ON CRUISE SHIPS!” then the least a company can do is give a non-time-limited credit for your deposit.  Bookings and Guest Services have their hands tied by company regulations, so my complaint is being escalated to higher management. 
 
They need to wake up to the fact that they will alienate a large part of their customer base who are wrinklies like the W’s if they stick rigidly to their current rules and we are forced through hoops only to lose our deposit in the end.  Let’s face it, this pandemic will be with us for a couple of years or more yet, even with a successful vaccine.  The mathematics are stacked against anything else.
