Window shopping ain't what it used to be.

Once upon a time this was a busy shopping street. Then came the "New Town", one side was flattened, replaced by offices and a bank, the other main shopping street was totally demolished and a new shopping centre built. This street has never recovered, businesses come and go, but only the pub has survived, even before Covid the Italian restraurant had closed, as had the Bingo hall.
