Short back and sides

So the vines are going to look like this for the next six months. Somewhat less photogenic. Let's hope we're out of lockdown before they show leaves again ...

S had last-minute medical appointments -- most impressed that our normally surbooké dentist could look at his broken tooth at 6 pm this evening. I think many people may be steering clear during lockdown. His appointment this morning was in Narbonne, so he took advantage of this to go to the covered market and buy lots of goodies. Lunch was steak in a mustard and cream sauce with a delicious ready-made gratin dauphinois, and Brussels sprouts fried with breadcrumbs and Parmesan. We also have lots of cheese now. And I sorted through the in-house supplies and made sourdough blini and a pot of celeriac and bacon soup.
