Pollok Park allotments

These are the Sir John Stirling Maxwell allotments, for which there is a ten year waiting list. I’m not tempted, I love not having a garden anymore. I like looking at them and smelling the bonfires which the plot holders can light outwith May to September. Some of the sheds are very pretty, more like beach huts, like the pink one with the sun mural in today’s blip.
The blip was taken late in the afternoon on return from a walk to the library. It was busy with everyone stocking up before lockdown which starts on Friday evening. Not such a good haul this time, looking forward to Ali Smith’s Autumn though.
