Lockdown 2:  Day 13

It rained all morning and after lunch it was dark outside.

I decided against a walk and got in the car to go to the garden centre and buy my 2021 Eric the Penguin calendar. Not wanting to risk another flat battery by doing only short journeys I drove towards Grasmere first to do a few extra miles. By the time I reached Rydal the rain had stopped, it was lighter and the sun made a brief appearance.

I parked at White Moss and had a walk. I’ll go and buy the calendar tomorrow. 

This curved metal bridge replaced the old wooden one with steps up when the path was upgraded to a cycle route.
