St Andrew's Day preparations

St Andrew's Day will soon be upon us, but no ceilidhs or dinner dances this year so Clacks Women for Independence have decided to attempt a public art installation in Alloa, consisting of a row of painted stones* along Parliament Walk heading towards Alloa Tower. 

 So the next few weeks will be frantically finding and painting stones with vaguely St Andrew's themed pictures so we can build up a stash.  

We're hoping to have an article in the Alloa Advertiser inviting everyone to join in - thankfully Clacks was not in the list of councils going into Level 4 lockdown but even so, this is an activity that can take place within the covid 19 rules, so hopefully we will get a few folk joining in. 

*I vaguely remember one of Broon's blips from the summer had a similar idea (almost certainly where I stole it from)?
