Oyster catchers

Always lovely to see these birds on the sea shore. Normally hear them first but they were hunkered down facing the wind in a long drawn out queue! Another grey drizzly day! Spent time collecting wood on the beach with Sian and Ian and molly. The wild weather had brought in loads of logs intertwined with mounds of seaweed. Made leek and potato soup which is really tasty due to the vegetable stockpot that I added. Tomorrow will add cheese to the bowl before adding the soup!
