Bobby dazzler

This phrase is defined as a ‘quaint coloquial term’ although it’s used copiously in the north to describe something ‘great’. I heard it this morning so decided to bring it into circulation.

The weather today has not been a bobby dazzler. It’s been ‘largely shit’ moving towards ‘windy but passable’ in the afternoon. Michelle came into Cambridge and we strolled for a couple of hours around muddy fields and leafy university parts of West Cambridge.

We weaved back into the city centre, and came across Saint Peter’s Church, tucked in amongst some higgledy-piggledy streets and passages. I could blip a quaint old Cambridge building every day for a year and be nowhere near capturing them all.
