Wide Wednesday . . . Industrial

Between where I live and Nelson City is the Whakatu Industrial Estate.  At one end is new buildings but this collection of buildings are past their best and I don't think they are all occupied.  There was a freezing works processing meat on the site and perhaps these buildings are left from that time.  I always like seeing the repetition of the peaked rooves.  (Who says roofs?  I just don't like it written down and use the ves.)  Anyway thanks for keeping it wide Bob.
The last couple of days I have had a nephew and his partner staying.  They are travelling through to Queenstown so Livvy can run the marathon on Saturday.  This time last year we were there to support the lovely daughter run a half marathon.  What a year has followed.  Livvy is a scientist in our biggest Covid testing lab.  She had fascinating information to share.
The extra is for Doyley 52 who wanted to see the Port Wine Magnolia.  One day it will be bigger than the flax bush.
