I can see you snigger as you look at this blip! But honest there's an explanation that goes with it :)

These life-sized and human-weight dummies are used to train home carers in the methods used to lift elderly and disabled clients. They are truly fantastic and are an important part of training.

As an aside, the bed and room the dummy is in, is the size of a normal local authority house so carers can see all the difficulties in moving about in a small place. The only difference is the walls are half-height for training purposes.
