127 day is coming!

I got out one of my old 127 film cameras ready for 127 day. This is the Yashica 44LM. I prefer it in some respects to the Baby Rollei, but one way in which it is much worse is the film advance and film loading. It is very straightforward on the Rollei, but I nightmare on the Yashica, and I have always lost frames at the start of the film on the Yashica, despite re-reading the instructions every time I try to load it. The film advance is also not linked to the shutter cocking mechanism, so it is all too easy to get dowuble exposures.
