Togetherness
It was Frank's funeral today. The words he wrote after Betty died told us how much he longed to be with her. He spent a lifetime writing poems and accounts of his experiences, some of them were read out at the Crematorium today.
It was such a beautiful morning I was thinking of going down to the lake for a blip but, just as I was leaving the house I remembered about this tombstone. It was so right for the day.
I had seen this carving a couple of years ago when out blip-hunting but didn't use it that day. What makes these hands holding each other even more appropriate for Frank and Betty being reunited in death is that the 110 year-old tomb is that of a couple with their surname.
