Portly Pigeon

It's so nice to have a day off in the sunshine. I had a good lie in and after lunch took myself off for a walk by the canal down my road. The blue tits wouldn't sit still enough for me to take a picture of and kept flitting off leaving me with numerous pictures of empty branches! As i was panning the camera around i spotted this fatty up in the branches looking decidedly docile but rather photogenic against the blue sky.
Later my best friend popped round and we had a good catch up with a cuppa. Time now for a stir fry and maybe a cheeky glass of vino. :-)
