Praying Mantis

This one has taken up residence on our masonry hammer and is not keen to move. Always slighlty creepy insects, their mating habits leave a bit to be desired, especially if you are the male Mantis.
In these Covid incarcertion days, one day is much liike the next although today I braved the valley to get cement and food supplies so that the Mistress Mason cvan carry on with her travail.
