Post Industrial (WidWed181120 & DS220)
In search of a blip I walked around Ufton Fields nature reserve this afternoon. There is very little real industry in this part of Warwickshire, so post industrial is probably about as good as I'm going to find :-)
Up to the 1950s this was a site for extracting limestone, but all that remains now is the furrowed landscape and this old tipper bucket.
I like the notion of nature slowly reclaiming the iron as it rusts and the landscape too which is now a haven for butterflies in the summer.
Large on Black for the textures and rivet heads
Thanks to BobsBlips for hosting Wide Wednesday & Marlieske for Derelict Sunday.
