A tribute to Glen

We attended the funeral of a friend from work today. Glen dedicated his whole working life to the NHS and was determined to improve health services for the people of Wigan, particularly young people. He was resolute in his ambition and leaves a great legacy of better and more accessible services. Outside work Glen had many loves, his wife Janet, his family, photography and travelling in America. So this ones for you Glen. The sun sets on your life but you will be remembered and your achievements celebrated for many years to come. I hope the plane in the picture was en route to America - you would have liked that.
