A Winter Bonfire

Tucked away at the bottom of the gentle and pretty Glaven Valley is 'Natural Surroundings', a small garden centre specialising in wild and native flowers and plants, a tiny cafe and a small nature reserve.  They are open during lockdown (just for plant sales and take-aways) and B and I stopped by during our walk this morning so I could indulge in a coffee which we took up to a nearby look-out point from where four village churches and a windmill can be seen.  
I was enjoying the evocative aroma of wood smoke from this bonfire while I sipped my coffee sitting on the enormous wooden seat hewn from a large tree trunk.  A beautiful morning walk.
