Who'd have thought it?

We went down to Workington to look at the murmuration at Siddick Ponds. There were a lot of birds but not too much happening in the air - and the birds seemed to vanish! You can see the birds in the air in my extra but the main shows them settling in the reeds. Those black patches in the reeds are actually thousands of starlings! Who would have thought it?
