Not really. It's Handa island viewed from Scourie bay. In 1841 there was a thriving community here numbering 65, ruled over by the Handa Queen (the oldest female widow), much along the lines of distant St Kilda. The population asked to be removed after the disastrous potato famine in 1848.
The island is now part of Scourie Estate, and a Nature reserve. Tourists can visit the island by a ferry run from Tarbet.
The western cliffs (left edge) are formed by one of the Scourie dykes, a geological feature. and runs through to the cemetry.
