Mistletoe Remembered
I've photographed these trees before.
Again, it's in November
when mistletoe pulls at my soul.
Although I can remember
the sight, I want to pin it down,
and gaze at it afresh:
the roundness of the berried spheres,
the goosebumps on my flesh.

These might be the very same Lincolnshire trees that I blipped one year and two days ago. But I am fascinated by mistletoe - it's so beautiful.
Thank you so much for all the hearty, star-spangled lerve bestowed on my yesterblip that put it on the popular pages. Much appreciated; glad you enjoyed the sight and the words.
