Bull rushes

Had a walk with a friend this afternoon from Les Ernets to Frience. Whilst I was waiting for her to arrive I spotted some bull rushes beneath the conifers. It always seems strange to see them at altitude. The ground around them was very boggy and I got wet feet when taking the photo.
