Beach walk

Today it rained, again !
The tide came in much further than usual which was fun , after a paddle we sat in a shelter and ate chips. 
The waterproofs arent !
As we drove home the rainwater seeped through to our skin . 
A fire was lit  and we steamed gently for a while , Bramble snoozed.
Later we had a video call with our Son and watched his daughter  Florence play. We should have been there as its her first birthday tomorrow .We had planned a pizza evening with them to celebrate as tomorrow they want to be together as a little family. 
Then lockdown happened.
