Shadows on Frozen Blea Tarn

This noon I went to see John and Gail, good to see them as ever. Afterwards I tried to get to Buttermere via Whinlatter pass, the road was closed near Loweswater so I decided to head up to the central lakes, stopping at Thirlmere and the Langdales. Nearly all the lakes and waters I passed today were frozen and it had to be one of the stillest days in a long time.
