4G data

I’m ditching my community broadband, relayed by microwave from Edinburgh, in favour of 4G. It’s way faster, and no more expensive. Plus the 4G contract is unlimited data, while the community was capped.

And, in the office, out goes the expensive and ineffective bonded ADSL and in comes another 4G router. I’ll be using a different provider to give some resilience. Although, it does look like all providers are on the same mast.

I wonder if we’ll ever get fast fibre to our premises. I’ll not be holding my breath.
