Magic

The last few days in Glasgow have been beautiful. The sun has been out in force and the brilliant blue sky filled with promise. Spring is definitely on its way. I love spring. I love the lighter mornings and the longer days. I love the explosion of colour; from the bright daffodils, crocuses and snowdrops to the green leaves bringing life to branches that had been bare only weeks previously. I love how spring hits you in the face before gently trundling along into summer. I love all the seasons to be fair, each one brings with it its own beauty and wonder but right now, with spring on the horizon, I'm a little bit in love with it.


Today, I went out for a walk in the sun. I headed to Maxwell Park as I hadn't been there since a friend's wedding a few years ago. I took a lot of photos, and some that were arguably much better than this one, but I loved seeing how the sunlight caught the ice on the pond. It gave the day a real feel of magic. If only you'd been there to share in the beauty...
