A rare treat

Shwarma has become a real treat for Lauralea and myself.

I first tried it when I was in Palestine a few years ago. The food and kind hospitality of the local people was such a humble treat. I’ll not soon forget it. So now when I eat this food, it takes me back.

I came back searching for similar food, and soon found it, from people who were from there.

Lauralea took to it even more than I did and now she’s quick to encourage me to take her there. So we went there today and enjoyed ourselves.

This was the prize, and it was good.
