Just popped up

Went to have a look around the garden as it was again so sunny and lovely. Most of the beds look awfully boggy and lacking in anything nice, but found 2 little bursts of colour popping through. One was already being attacked by a pesky snail, but this one was okay for now.
I don't do gardening so much, so Sam will be busy over the next few months. She's already twitchy about the grass being trouble to cut.
The bamboo is so short, it always amazes me how much it will grow over the next few months. Will have to get a picture of it for a now and then shot.
