Golden days

The lovely weather weather at the weekend gave me the chance to have a quick look at my beehives. Three of the four hives I had last year have made it through the winter which is great news. Let's hope we have a mild spring and they are able to build up their strength ready for a busy summer.

This is a piece of natural honey comb made entirely by the bees with no help from humans. I'm blown away but its beauty and precision.

In other news, a change of office location means I am back on my bike cycling to work. I've had two sunny days so far but wonder what the rest of the week holds!
