another mad double shift day, yuck :-( but it was quiet enough early afternoon to sneak out for a break, and the haar had burned off enough to make it hazysunny and pleasantly warm out of the wind. i came across a duck and drake roosting in the middle of the ponds at the parliament - her up on one leg, him slouching with his feathered butt in the water to keep cool! somewhat hilarious, i thought.

news was... newsy. not too bad, considering all that is to be considered. and i got an early cut, which was nice.
