View Restored

The arboriculturists have made their Autumnal visit and the view of the nearby Round Hill is once again restored.  they managed to get their lopping and pruning done largely in the dry this morning.  It has been one of those largely sunny windy days that feature sharp heavy showers every now and again.

I've been largely trying to sort out my Christmas shopping - which this year is of course being done on line, so far exclusively on line.  I was amused to see that, our daughter Jess's other half's family, have introduced a requirement that all gifts must be made by the giver.  That's great if you have useful handicraft baking or preserving skills, and provided that the family does not have too many members to sort a gift out for.  But its quite the challenge for most people.  But it could make for a very amusing Christmas Day unwrapping session - assuming everyone is allowed to meet in person and not having to do it on Zoom.
