Etched Butternuts

A few blocks away, a woman had a large garden of butternut squash. When the squash were quite small, she etched sayings and bits of poetry into them. Today she held a porch fundraiser for groups in Georgia to use in the fight for two senate seats. I got there early, waited my turn on the porch, and got the two shown in the Extra. The pink hearts were for the ones already sold.
