Nature’s Ornaments

I’ve read in several places that people are decorating for the holidays early this year. With so many of us being ordered or encouraged to stay home, it’s an easy way to bring cheer and light in to our homes, as well as to those who happen to pass by • This is our neighbor’s apple tree that’s quite a distance from our house. With its leaves gone the remaining apples look like red Christmas tree ornaments. Like the cardinal I’m looking forward to the first bit of snow to bring them to life! They will certainly be enjoyed by the deer this winter. I have seen our young friend in the past few days but not the mother. Hopefully we have not lost any during this inhumane hunting season that will come to an end in a couple of weeks • Still under the weather but moving about more today. Mrs. P isn’t feeling 100% either but she’s a hearty soul and will likely feel just fine tomorrow! Thanks for all your good wishes. I think they’re working ;)
