Measuring Up

We’re doing measuring in maths this week so I got the children to measure each other with lengths of wool and we’re going to use them for a class display.
We had quite a good day but outdoor PE was a bit chilly this morning.

As a family, we have been having discussions about Poppy’s trip to Borneo next year. It seems that it is not going to be the trip that we signed up for and may not even be to Borneo. There are now no members of staff going from The Village College and Poppy’s friends have been dropping out one by one. We have already paid half of the £4500 (ish) cost and the company who organise it state that you can’t get any of your money back if you cancel. D is in discussion with Camps International to see what we can do.
