Coprinopsis atramentaria

Common ink cap. Edible but not sure I would be tempted.
Apart from that it was nice to be out for a site visit at a beautiful vacant Victorian Mill. The sky was blue up there in the Pennines and a wind kept the temperature in low single figures, but it was still a pleasant change.
