AJ as Minnie

Up at the crack of dawn - 6am - to take my sister to hospital for planned surgery. Managed to get into work early, with the plans to finish a bit early (or in time). The operation went well and fortunately she didn’t need a general anaesthetic, so able to come home today. She was pleased to be back home to rest/recuperate :)

Grabbed a take-away on the way home as time was getting on - a treat :)

Still haven’t been able to see AJ in the care home, but the home take regular photos of the residents joining in activities. Here is AJ enjoying Minnie Mouse day today. She is persevering with knitting but struggles as she is severely sight impaired. She looks happy, that’s the main thing :)
