Tree trouble!
This year has been so awful on so many levels I decided I am going to put my Christmas tree up 2 weeks earlier than usual !
Well, that was the plan.
When we got our trusty ( 20 year old tree) out of the box one of the base supporting struts was missing! As we didn’t use the tree last year as Robyn was living with us I had no idea where it was. So I wizzed to the local garden centre and quickly purchased a metal support for a real tree. Sadly this was too large for the trunk but Mr U&L made some wedges and all seemed OK till we started to add the lights and the tree started to fall over in a most spectacular fashion!!
Long story short, the tree is now sort of upright, tied to the radiator with a sturdy ribbon and bungee cord!! I really hope the cat leaves it alone!!!!!
