And the winner is....

Back in the early noughties when I had my kids at the weekend I used to buy the Saturday ‘Times’ which was enough newspapers and magazines for a week. I enjoyed their caption competition and sometimes entered it. When I sent this entry in, I suspected it was a winner.  My son said he thought it was Mick who was stuck. ‘It won,’ I said, somewhat smugly. The two of them then took great delight in saying : ‘The winner is Martin Russell of Inverness,’ in silly voices. I won a non-digital compact camera. I’ve no idea what happened to it.
