A day of surprising successes

Number One. New broadband supplier started today. We have got everything (phones, TV, laptop, tablet ,Alexa's (x4)) working. The only problem is an internet extender that is not as necessary now. Saved money and failed to have a breakdown/tantrum. Result

Number Two. We bought a new car at the end of September and for some reason it only had one key with remote locking. The other was manual and set the alarm off every time it was used ("Well yes sir, its supposed to do that , its a security feature") I complained to the salesman , his supervisor and the dealership manager, without success. I emailed the company's UK CEO and received no reply. I phoned head office, explained all that had happened and they said they would look into it. Their emailed reply told me one key was correct. I replied, copying in the English CEO, explaining at great length that I had owned four previous versions of this car, all of which had two keys, loyal customer, the key is the only problem with an excellent car  marketing mistake etc etc. I picked up the new key, with remote locking, today. Result.

Number Three. On our fifth call to the Premium Bond people we have finally found someone who understood our problem, looked back at their records, confirmed a duplicated payment had occurred and promised a refund in three working days. That is a success, if we get the money back as promised will be an even more significant achievement. Maybe result.
Number Four. Daughter Two had a few tons of gravel delivered to the front of her house  that needed moving to the back. I have not been near Daughter Two's house today. Result
