Swampy

I met up with a friend for a walk, and we had beautiful warm and sunny weather for the whole morning.

At last I could get up close to one of my favourite trees at Trentham Gardens, a Swamp Cypress, as they'd removed the cordon surrounding it. It's an impressive tree, not just because of it's size, but it leans so much I'm amazed it's still standing. 

It has lost quite a few branches this year so it's shaping has changed but I did manage to look at it with a different viewpoint than usual to get this image.
