A Touch of Brightness on a Dark Day

Today has been much colder, with spits of icy rain driven by cold gusts. I intended to walk for at least three-quarters if an hour, but was chased home by the wind after 20 minutes, back to the central heating. I did stop briefly to take a pic of a neighbour's autumn Hebe, a touch of brightness on a dark day.
