Long-tailed Tit (Aegithalos caudatus)

Yes I know you are thinking does he never stop watching birds and blipping them.   Well to be honest, no I don't.  The same excuse as yesterday workmen in.   With two doors leaning against the front door and holes in the floor an men between me and the back door the window was the obvious choice.

Fortunately a volery (yes I know I hadn't come across the word either) of Long-tailed Tits came foraging through the garden.  We had the occasional visit from a single bird during the summer, I assume they were nesting somewhere nearby.  During the winter groups (voleries) forage through the garden   This is the first I have seen this year.
